Yukigassen is a Japanese sport originating from the island of Hokkaido. It’s a mix of snowball fighting and capture the flag!

Is yukigassen played in the US?

Yukigassen was first played in the United States in 2001. Since then, groups around the country have gathered to play around the country, including in Alaska and Colorado. An American team competed at the international championship in 2011.

USA Yukigassen is dedicated to providing support and connecting enthusiasts around the country in order to grow the game at all levels and compete against other clubs and national teams!
